Sake of April | Otokoyama Honten

Founded in 1912 in Kesennuma, Miyagi, Otokoyama Honten is a historic brewery with over a century of dedication to sake-making, nurtured by the region's abundant seas and natural beauty.

Guided by the belief that sake is a "crystallization of wisdom, craftsmanship, and spirit," the brewery continues to create expressions that reflect the unique character of its land. Its signature label, Sōtenden, embodies the scenery and sentiments of Kesennuma, refined alongside the region's rich culinary culture.

Inspired by a port town blessed with an abundance of seasonal seafood, the sake is crafted to achieve a light, elegant, and refined profile. Its delicate umami and pristine finish harmonize beautifully with ingredient-driven cuisine, elevating each dining experience into a moment of quiet sophistication.
